Coronation Street viewers believe they’ve figured out the true identity of Shona Platt’s baby’s father, and it’s not her husband David.

Shona, played by Julia Goulding, has been a popular character among viewers since she first appeared on the cobbles in 2016. Over the years, she has been involved in numerous major storylines.

From suffering a brain injury to nearly being killed by her own son, Shona’s stint in Weatherfield has been anything but dull. She also became part of the renowned Platt family after tying the knot with David Platt, portrayed by Jack P. Shepherd, in 2019.

However, in December of last year, Shona stunned fans when she had an affair with Kit Green, played by Jacob Roberts, during a rocky patch in her relationship with David, reports the Daily Star.

At that time, things were strained between Shona and David, as he manipulated her to prevent her from reconnecting with her estranged son Clayton, played by Callum Harrison, who murdered his ex-wife Kylie, portrayed by Paula Lane.

The truth about Kit and Shona eventually came to light, and David and Shona managed to move past the incident. However, this week brought more drama to the Platt household.
