#YR’s L.A. storyline just took a turn we *never* saw coming, and we are *not* prepared for what comes next. Even if Nick and Sharon think they are, they’re not, either!
Good one, Young & Restless. We didn’t imagine that the show would make lovers of Sienna and Noah, seeing as their portrayers were
previously mother and son on Days of Our Lives. But in the November 6 episode (recapped here), Nick and Sharon’s son flashed back to a passionate make-out session with Mitch’s wife.

So are you thinking what we are now? That perhaps the back-from-the-dead Matt Clark didn’t only target Noah because he’s the grown child of his archenemies, the Newmans, but also because the younger man was schtupping his missus?

If we filter the notion through Matt’s twisted mind, it makes a kind of sense that he’d see a Noah/Sienna affair as history repeating itself. You’ll recall that the villain’s vendetta against Nick began when Matt’s high-school sweetheart Sharon fell for their wealthy classmate. The psycho never got over it and, in the early 2000s, even got plastic surgery and passed himself off as Carter Mills to get a second chance at terrorizing them.

Matt already suspects that something more than business is going on between Sienna and Noah. He’s pressed his wife to confess, but she may not even need to — not if “Mitch” is convinced enough already that he ran Noah off the road.
Now that “Shick” are in L.A., though, we expect absolute bedlam. Since Nick punched first, asked questions later, Matt is going to want payback more than ever. If we were the Newmans, we’d post a guard at Noah’s hospital-room door and hire security to follow around Sharon 24/7, lest she be forced to endure what, her fourth kidnapping in like two years?

In the end, we betcha Matt will try to trap all of his enemies, including his better half, in The Shadow Room with the intention of blowing them all up. The club will explode, but natch, everyone will survive — and Noah and Sienna will open a Shadow Room in Genoa City that just happens to look exactly like the one Matt demolished in L.A.!
