Yellowstone spin-off stars team up for ’10/10′ underrated crime thriller streaming free
Luke Grimes, known for his role as Kayce Dutton in the hit series Yellowstone, also stars in an ‘overlooked’ crime thriller that fans are rating 10/10.
Grimes, who is set to reprise his TV character in the upcoming spin-off Y: The Marshals, has been praised for his performance in this 2019 flick.

Fans of the Paramount series have encouraged others to check out his role in this film.
The cast of Into The Ashes also includes Marvel and DC star Frank Grillo, as well as James Badge Dale, who appeared in the Yellowstone spin-off 1923 as John Dutton Sr.

Into the Ashes tells the story of Nick (played by Grimes), a blue-collar ex-con living in a small town in the Alabama countryside. He attempts to leave his violent past behind and settle down with his new wife.
However, when Sloan (Grillo), a dark figure from his past, arrives seeking revenge, Nick’s world is thrown into chaos. Forced to fight back, Nick becomes determined to exact his own revenge, reports the Mirror.

He must track down Sloan and his gang, while dealing with his father-in-law, local sheriff Frank, who is grappling with his own moral dilemmas. Despite only receiving a limited cinematic release in the United States, the film is now gaining popularity on streaming platforms.

Currently, UK viewers can catch the film on Prime Video if they’re subscribed to Amazon’s service. It’s also available for free viewing on Plex, a streaming platform that offers complimentary ad-supported films, shows, and live TV.
Upon its release, the film didn’t fare well with critics, only managing to scrape together a 30% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, some reviews did commend it, with one stating it is “a stylish and violent modern-day Western noir, while not all the pieces of the puzzle perfectly fit into place, it’s still a good yarn filled with arresting visuals and solid performances.”
