Coronation Street’s Lauren Bolton could learn about a shocking DNA twist in upcoming episodes

Coronation Street fans believe they’ve exposed the true identity of Lauren Bolton’s dad, and he’s a cobbles legend.

Soap viewers will know that Lauren first appeared in Weatherfield in 2022, where it was soon revealed that she had been groomed by her father Reece (Scott Anson) to join a far-right extremist group.

Last year, the youngster was believed to have been murdered, with Roy Cropper (David Neilson) being charged with the crime.

Lauren later returned after spending five months in hiding following an attack by villain Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

In recent months, Lauren was involved in a dark drug plot when she accidentally drank from Aadi Alahan’s (Adam Hussain) cup at a party, which contained LSD.

After hallucinating her dead abuser, Joel, and falling down some steps outside Underworld, Lauren was admitted to the hospital with broken ribs and a ruptured spleen.

Lauren was later left fuming when she learned that Aadi had lied to her about the spiking, which led her to call the police on him, just days before his departure from the street.

 

Now, several Corrie fans are convinced that Reece isn’t Lauren’s real father, with many suggesting that she could be the secret offspring of Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward).

Aidan was the son of Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley), half-brother of Carla (Alison King) and former owner of Underworld.

In 2018, Aidan secretly struggled with depression and suicidal tendencies, which led to him taking his own life later that year.

His death had a devastating effect on his loved ones, especially his partner Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), who had recently given birth to their daughter.

Ahead of Eva’s return to the cobbles as the new landlady of the Rovers, some Corrie fans believe she could be reunited with a long-lost family member.

“I think that Lauren will find out her estranged mother was once Aidan’s former girlfriend before he hooked up with Maria and Eva, and Carla begins to find out the truth about Aidan being Lauren’s biological father,” one person wrote on Reddit.
