Alex gets home, excited about Stephanie’s her book launch, but she’s shaken. She fills him in on Jada and Jeremy’s date and thinks he

orchestrated this whole thing to get close to her. Then, she finally pushes through her shame to tell Alex about Jeremy’s anger and the time

he nearly drowned her in the hot tub. She insists it was a drinking game gone wrong, though, not a drowning. (But yeah, it was longer than a second.)

 

 

Jeremy and Jada’s date in The Pub seems to be going swimmingly, but then he admits he knows Stephanie and Jada realizes real quick that he’s the old boyfriend Steph was scared of.

 

 

She asks point blank what happened, but he just insists he’s turned his life around. Jada, in turn, tells him about Bobby/Everett. She’s not OK with doing that again.

 

 

Amy drops in at the DiMera mansion at EJ’s summons. Well, no, she makes it clear she’s NOT there because of that. She gives him a piece of her mind about how Sophia’s condition is his fault.

 

 

They’re both failed parents estranged from their kids, he suggests… and they could help each other out. Johnny backed out of the adoption because he decided it was best for the baby after finding out what EJ did. That’s the sign of a good father, who’s now ready to adopt. This was EJ’s fault, not Johnny’s. If Amy withdraws her adoption objection, EJ will stay away — completely and utterly — and she can focus on Sophia. Amy will think on it.

Johnny finds Chanel looking longingly at the baby crib in their bedroom. She’s ready to give up on adopting Tesoro, but Johnny won’t let her. It’s not over ‘til it’s over! They comfort each other with a little love-making, then get a photo from Lani with the twins’ Halloween costume. Johnny promises they’ll have kids.

Will Aaron Give Up Tesoro?
Aaron’s getting ready for Halloween when he gets the DNA results. He is the father! Which, yeah. Who else was left? Aaron goes into panic mode and Cat talks him through it and promises to be with him every step of the way.

He’s definitely giving up his rights as father, but… he messed up once and now he’s a father who has to give up his baby. Cat assures him he’s still a kind, caring person and she’s there for him.

Is Stefano Haunting Salem?

It turns out, Aaron was dressed up to give a Halloween tour (A ghost tour? That seems dangerous in a town like Salem), which Leo is going on. They realize in no time flat who the other person is and Aaron confirms Tesoro is his.

But then annoying jury guy Adam shows up, is excited to see Leo again and stops the whole convo. Aaron starts the tour with a tale about the naked alien pair who crash landed on 4th of July (Which, as you know, is Cassie and Rex’s bizarro origin!) and mentions the “cruise, which had a lot of deception”, but the guy wants to hear about the serial killers and devil possessions.

So he revolts and leads everyone away to the DiMera mansion! He wants to check out the mausoleum, but Leo points out Stefano’s not in there. His body was never found. After some spooky noises, they all race out of there.

In the Show’s Final Moments
Jada rushes to Alex and Stephanie’s to say she ended it with Jeremy, and they tell her they think Jeremy targeted her. The match wasn’t an accident. She’s stunned. Stephanie then tells Jada what she told Alex and the two promise they’re watching Jeremy like a hawk from now on.
