We know “new era” can get thrown around a lot when there are changes happening in the world, but for The Bold and the Beautiful, the term really does apply! Our sister site Deadline reports that for the first time in the show’s history, they’ve named a new executive producer who is not a member of the legendary Bell family!

While Bradley Bell remains executive producer and headwriter, Casey Kasprzyk has been promoted from supervising producer to join Bell as executive producer. Since the show’s start, only creators Lee Phillip Bell, William Bell and, of course, their son Bradley Bell have served as executive producers — until now!

Longtime fans are very familiar with Kasprzyk, who’s been with the soap for 22 years, serving as an associate producer, supervising producer and created and hosts Bold Live! on YouTube where he interviews the stars of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Bell, according to Deadline, shared a memo with the cast and crew about the change, writing, “Twenty-two years ago Casey Kasprzyk joined The Bold and the Beautiful at the front desk. Since then, Casey has flourished in every level of production.”

He went on to add, “Casey’s commitment and dedication to The Bold and the Beautiful has been extraordinary. Casey’s creative accomplishments are too vast to quantify, as he has continually elevated the show to new heights.”
