The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers reveal that Scott Clifton, who plays Liam Spencer, has finally spoken out about what fans believed was Liam’s imminent death. What exactly when on with this storyline and was Liam ever really supposed to die?

Killing Off Major Characters

The Bold and The Beautiful has never been shy about killing off major characters. Of course, that doens’t mean that said character stayed dead either.

Just look at Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and now, even Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) have all died at least once and returned.

Some character have actually remained dead after their crossing over exit from that soap, some of these included, Caroline Spencer Forrester (Joanna Johnson), Storm Logan (William deVry) and the Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) who have remained gone from the show and Liam almost joined them just a little while ago.

An Interview With Scott Clifton

Daytime Confidential caught up with Scott at the 52 Emmy Awards on the red carpet last week. Clifton, a three time Emmy award winner reveals that Bold’s Executive Producer and Head Writer Brad Bell initially planned to kill Liam off!

Clifton revealed, “I was supposed to be on my way out. That was the plan. No, yeah, it wasn’t like this master plan, tricking the audience thing. I mean…Mr. Bell called me up to his office about probably a year ago now and said, ‘Listen, I really love this character but I think this [killing Liam] is what I want to do.”

Liam Spencer Would Be Missed

Honestly, there is only one person that waffles more between women on B&B than Liam. It would be strange not to have him waffling back and forth between Steffy Forrester (and trying to break up her marriage to John “Finn” Finnegan) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) who he encouraged to marry another man.

Scott admits though that from the shows standpoint, all roads lead to Hope. Of course, fans will remember that Liam broke up with Hope and demanded a divorce.

However, Liam had been sneaking around kissing Steffy and declaring his undying love for her before running back to Hope and trying to win her back again.

Liam Spencer And Hope Logan Reunite

Now that Liam as gotten past his doctor induced health crisis, Liam and Hope are back together. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) broke up with her and sent her home to Liam where he knew she wanted to be.

Now Hope and Liam are putting their family back together. Can fans look forward to a new baby for these two in the future?
