The countdown is on, Genoa City fans! CBS has officially announced that The Young and the Restless will return for its 53rd season on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The daytime drama, which holds the record as the network’s longest-running scripted series, promises a fall packed with explosive storylines, shocking twists, and a few long-awaited reunions. Major Storylines to Expect in Season 53

The new season wastes no time diving into high-stakes drama. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will once again face their epic rivalry, but this time the stakes are even higher. Can the two legendary foes set aside decades of animosity to protect their legacies? Or will pride win out and lead to chaos for their families and businesses?

Elsewhere, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) embark on a dangerous journey after receiving a troubling message. Their search for answers may place them directly in harm’s way.
