Yellowstone star ‘unrecognisable’ in first-look at ‘exquisite’ comedy’s comeback

Yellowstone star Josh Lucas looks totally different in the upcoming second season of Palm Royale, coming to Apple TV+ next month.

The cult comedy stars Kristen Wiig as a determined social climber who infiltrates a high society clique in 1960s Florida.

Despite receiving just 56 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, the first season has gradually built up a passionate following who claim it’s been “underrated” by critics.

Thankfully, it also proved popular enough to warrant a second season, which will reunite Wiig’s Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons with Lucas, portraying her on-screen husband Douglas Darby Dellacorte-Simmons.

Lucas, who has also starred in the films Sweet Home Alabama and Ford v Ferrari, is well-known to Yellowstone fans for portraying a younger version of Kevin Costner’s lead character John Dutton in flashbacks.

However, he looks completely different in the first-look at Palm Royale season two, swapping his cowboy hat and denim for a leather jacket, sunglasses and pilot’s cap.
