April tells Ray that Dylan has a new job at Caleb’s depot. This is music to Ray’s ears, as he considers the positive implications for his drug deals.

Dylan worries when Ray pops up at the depot, claiming that they can help each other. Oblivious Paddy also offers Dylan driving lessons so he can play a bigger role in the business, which plays straight into Ray’s hands.

Ray warns April that she and Dylan are nowhere near close to repaying the debt they supposedly owe to him. He suggests that she could pay it off sooner if she plays a more active role in the operation.

April agrees to take part in a demo deal, but she’s spooked by an encounter with a beaten-up lad – which reminds her of the consequences if things go wrong.

Later, after a successful day, April accepts a burner phone from Ray and becomes a full-time dealer for him.

Paddy seems to be a new father figure in Dylan’s life, but the impressionable teen still can’t manage to escape Ray’s influence.

When Ray rewards Dylan with a generous gift, the young lad is more grateful than ever to have the sly villain in his life.

Claudette is concerned as busy Liam cancels the appointment he’d booked to raise concerns over his prostate. Although Liam has lots on his plate at the moment, Claudette points out that his health should be the top priority.

Things come to a head when Manpreet catches Liam relieving himself in the hand basin in his consulting room. With Manpreet’s urging, Liam realises that he can’t continue to ignore his symptoms.

Liam decides to confide in Chas about what he’s been hiding from her.

Chas is upset when Liam reveals that he’s worried he might be diagnosed with prostate cancer.

After being asked for a favour, Caleb sneaks out of Mill Cottage but Ruby catches him.

Ruby demands to know what Caleb is up to, but will he be honest with his wife?

Charity finally goes ahead and arranges a DNA test to find out whether she’s carrying Ross’s baby. Chas spots Charity and Ross in secret conversations and guesses that they’re up to something.

Later, Charity warns Ross that they’ll have a 10-day wait before the all-important results arrive.
