Next week on Emmerdale, Charity is thrown into turmoil as she discovers who the father of her baby is. She makes an immediate decision on her next move, but Chas disapproves. Can Charity bring herself to be honest with Sarah?

Charity chases up the DNA test results after pressure from Ross, who’s still desperate for answers over where he stands.

Later, the news is official as a worried Charity confides in Chas about how the baby she’s carrying for Sarah and Jacob is actually her and Ross’s child.

Chas encourages Charity to simply be honest with Sarah following her discovery, but Charity has her own plan as she secretly books a termination.

Chas urges Charity to see that this isn’t the answer, especially if she’s rushing into things, but this sparks an argument between the two of them.

Sarah shows Charity a memory box, revealing that she has started collecting things for the baby. She even suggests that Charity could write a letter to the baby, welcoming the child into the world.

Charity’s inner turmoil goes unnoticed by Sarah, but did she go through with the termination?

Rhona is furious with April after the worrying incident which saw Leo rushed to hospital after inadvertently taking a pill. She’s unhappy with the idea of April living under the same roof moving forward, but Marlon fears that his daughter will be further isolated if she moves out.

April claims that she’ll go to stay with some ‘friends’, but she takes up an offer of a room with scheming Ray instead. Bob becomes concerned when he spots April sitting at the bus stop with a packed bag, so he invites April to come and stay at the B&B instead.

This change of plan goes down badly with Ray, who’d hoped to keep his control over April.

Celia overhears a conversation between Rhona and Moira as they discuss April’s living arrangements.

Not holding back, Celia shares her view that Rhona has done the right thing by keeping April at a distance for a while. Celia’s words make an impact, ensuring that April stays away from home for the time being.

Gabby confides in Charles about the marriage issues she’s experiencing with Vinny. She ends up bringing Charles home with her so that the vicar can give her and Vinny a counselling session.

As the troubled couple opens up, Charles highlights how they both clearly care about each other. It’s a positive starting point which leaves Gabby and Vinny with renewed hope for their future – for now…

Lewis challenges Vinny when he spots him trying to carry on as normal with Gabby. The new friends talk through the situation – and Gabby’s concerned when she walks in and spots them hugging.

While it’s an innocent moment, Gabby is full of unease and insecurity over her relationship. Can she really carry on like this?

Jimmy accidentally floods the King house, so the entire family end up moving in with Laurel.

Laurel struggles with the mayhem that the family brings to her door – and Jimmy soon seeks a quiet escape by heading outside to the pirate ship.

Carl and Clemmie grow closer, but this sparks tension between Carl and Lucas. When there’s a fight between the boys at school, Nicola refuses to stand for any nonsense from the troublesome Tate family.

The situation becomes much more serious when police are summoned, consulting with both families. Who called them?

Continuing to enjoy each other’s company, Belle and Kammy take their relationship to the next stage.
